In 2011, Sanni presented himself for public service as a Chairmanship Aspirant for Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA under the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). Though he was not elected then, his passion for developing his community never waned. Today, as a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he remains an influential grassroots mobilizer, policy advocate, and community builder.
At the heart of Sanni Ishola Omotola’s ambition to serve is his Hope 2025 Manifesto; a bold, practical, and people-centred blueprint that seeks to elevate Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA to new heights.
Aligning with the Lagos State Government’s THEMES Agenda, Sanni has developed his THEEPS Action Plan; Transportation, Healthcare Delivery, Education, Environment, Poverty Alleviation, and Security.

Born on May 12, 1971, to illustrious roots in Ikorodu and Igbogbo-Baiyeku, Sanni Ishola Omotola’s story is one defined by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, character, and community impact.
He began his academic journey at Eko Akete Grammar School on Lagos Island and continued at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he graduated with a B.Sc in Computer Science/Economics (Second Class Upper Division). His thirst for knowledge led him further to the University of Lagos, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Recognizing the importance of professional excellence, Sanni also became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, and earned multiple certifications in capital markets and securities.
In his professional career, S.I. distinguished himself in Nigeria’s financial sector. From Assistant Manager at Netnext Consult to Head of Dealing and Investment Banking at Magnartis Finance and Investment Limited, he has managed multi-billion-naira portfolios, facilitated Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and advised leading financial institutions. His expertise spans investment banking, strategic portfolio management, corporate restructuring, and business development.
Yet beyond his impressive resume, it is his unwavering commitment to the development of people and communities that stands out the most.
In his youthful days, S.I served as the President of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Association of Lagos State Students (NULASS) at Obafemi Awolowo University and championed pro-student and youth policies which shaped his perception of engaging young minds in community re-engineering. Principles he would be bringing to bear in his administration of the Council when elected.
