Veteran Fuji singer and hip‑Fuji pioneer Akorede Babatunde Okunola, popularly known as Saheed Osupa has surged ahead of rival K1 De Ultimate in monthly Spotify streams.
As of November 8 2025, Osupa is estimated to have around 241,000 monthly listeners, narrowly leading K1’s roughly 237,800, according to latest streaming data.
The milestone of Fuji music is significant and has long been driven by live performances, cassettes and compact disks, rather than streaming platforms.
Osupa’s achievement suggests the genre is now adapting to the digital era leveraging catalog refreshes, playlist inclusion and global exposure.
Observers say Osupa’s consistent releases, active social‑media engagement and strong legacy network have helped bridge older Fuji fans with younger streaming audiences.
