The recently sacked presidential Aide on digital and creative economy under the office of the vice president, Fegho John Umunobo, has reacted with optimism and joy following the news of his disengagement by the state house on September 8, 2025.
The information was confirmed on his Instagram story hours after the news broke out.
In his words, “it has been my honor to serve this great country and the creative industry”.
Though state house press statement didn’t reveal the reasons behind his sudden suspension but sources revealed that he had been enmeshed in series of financial scams pull off owing to his position as presidential aide.
Currently on watchlist of Department of Security Services (DSS), he’s reportedly allowed to go on vacation while investigation of his scams is ongoing.
Meanwhile, insiders revealed that he was never truly hired by the government before gotten disengage by the presidency.
This marks a recent development amidst growing numbers of people disengaged by the presidency after appointment.
