Despite being in office since 2000, Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame wins third term bid in landslide victory
After spending 17 years in office, Paul Kagame has won another term in a landslide victory.
According to reports from Rwanda as gathered by BlackBox Nigeria, Paul Kagame have garnered about 99% of the total votes casted.

Already jubilation have begun around the East African nation as supporters of the President believe he has brought economic stabilisation to the country and things can only get better.
Critics believe Paul Kagame is a dictator
Kagame’s critics however think otherwise as they have labeled him a tyrant and dictator.
Kagame’s third term bid was unsuccessfully challenged at the polls by an independent candidate, Philippe Mpayimana and Frank Habineza of the Democratic Green Party.
In television broadcast, Kagame promised to continue ensuring that development of the country is not toiled with.
“This is another seven years to take care of issues that affect Rwandans and ensure that we become real Rwandans who are [economically] developing,” he said.
