By ROTARY CLUB GBAGADA SOUTH HONOURS COMMUNITY TEACHERS
The Rotary Club of Gbagada South, Lagos State as part of its objective to recognize the worthiness of every useful occupation as an opportunity to serve the society has on Thursday January 31st 2019 honoured teachers in the community for their impact in inculcating values into younger ones.
According to the organizers, the award given to their various awardees was borne out of the usual practise of the Club of recognizing the efforts of selfless teachers in the community.
Best Teacher Recognition Awards were given to outstanding teachers of Eva Adelaja Girls’ Junior and Secondary Schools, Muslim Junior and Senior Colleges and Oworonsoki Group of Schools comprising of Aiyeroju, Mosafejo, Local Government, Muslim Mission and Oworonsoki Primary Schools.
The Awardees were; Mrs. E.A BARROW of Local Govt. Nursery & Primary School, Oworonsoki, Mrs Adeniran Elizabeth Olaitan of Ayeroju Primary School, Oworonsoki, Mrs Sanusi Abidemi Julianah of Muslim Mission Primary School, Oworonsoki, Mrs Olagunju Olajumoke Taibat of Mosafejo Primary School, Oworonsoki and Mrs Ololade Adijat Omowunmi of Oworoshoki Primary School, Oworonsoki.
Other awardees included Mr Okunloye Abel Idowu of Muslim Snr College, Oworonsoki, Mrs Awosika Adeyanju Omolara of Muslim Junior College, Oworonsoki, Mrs Tejumaiye Oluwaseun Adeola of Eva Adelaja Girls Senior Secondary, Bariga and finally, Odumusi Kemisola Bosede of Eva Adelaja Girls Junior Secondary School, Bariga.
