ROTARACT WEEK: ROTARY CLUB OF GBAGADA SOUTH ENLIGHTEN GIRLS ON ABUSE, DISTRIBUTES SANITARY TOWEL

In commemoration of the World Rotaract week, the Rotary Club of Gbagada South recently commenced a Joint twin project with the Rotaract Club of Gbagada South, focusing on the Girl child abuse with a seminar to enlighten the female child.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the group also distributed sanitary towels to students of Eva Adelaja Girls Senior Secondary School and CMS girls senior College both located in the Bariga area of Lagos State.

 

 

The timeout with the young ones also featured a joint fellowship at the Rotary Club meeting venue.

 

Rotary Club Gbagada South Honours Community Teachers

According to the group, in furtherance of reaching out to these young ones, a second leg of the joint fellowship at the Rotaract Club meeting will be a held and a venue announced soon.

 

 

Rotaract clubs bring together people between the ages of 18 and 30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.

 

 

Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world also take part in international service projects, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world.
