The Nigerian music community has been thrown into mourning following reports of the death of fast-emerging singer and vocalist Ifunanya, professionally known as Nanyah_music.
In an Instagram post by Chukserice, the incident disclosed that the singer allegedly lost her life after being bitten by a snake at her residence. She was said to have been taken to a hospital immediately after the incident, where medical personnel made efforts to save her, but she sadly passed on.
In the wake of the tragedy, a video circulating online has further fueled conversations around the incident. The clip reportedly shows a long black snake being restrained by an unidentified man, though the circumstances surrounding the footage remain unclear.
Nanyah gained national attention as a contestant on the fourth season of The Voice Nigeria, where her vocal talent earned her recognition among music lovers. She was also known for her consistent live performances and strong presence across social media platforms, where she built a growing fan base.
Her sudden death has sparked an outpouring of grief from fans and colleagues, many of whom have taken to social media to pay tribute to her life and artistry.
