The House Representative member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson has promised residents of Eruwen community in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, to fix the deplorable road that leads into the community.
This was made known on Sunday, October 23,2022, during a meeting held at the Kuyoolu Descendant Family Hall, Eruwen, Ikorodu.
The House of Representatives member who has facilitated the construction of over 25 roads across Ikorodu Federal Constituency said the ‘Listening Tour’ to Ajakuro, Ori-Okuta and Eruwen communities were parts of efforts to hear first hands, the plight of the people and how to intervene from a representative point of view.
Speaking at one of the stops of the tour in Eruwen, Rep. Benson said the construction of the Erunwen road is already included in this year’s budget and promised that construction will commence before the end of November 2022.
Also in Ajaguro and Ori-Okuta, he said he is optimistic the government will complete the ongoing project while soliciting support for all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the coming elections starting with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for President, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for Lagos State Governor, Senator Tokunbo Abiru for Lagos East Senatorial District , himself for Ikorodu Federal Constituency and the two Lagos State House of Assembly seats of Constituency 1 and 2.
