In a memo sent to staff who are still in the system, it was disclosed that there was need to close down an arm of its operation as it was not yielding profits as expected.
It was disclosed that having been running the arm, TVC Africa for years without expected return on investment and the current situation of the Nigerian economy, there was urgent need to re-strategise on moving forward.
It was also disclosed that staff retained will be reshuffled so as to keep operations om after the mass retrenchment.
