By Having read and seen different expressions due to the maladministration in the political setting of my town and following the recent demolition of Sabo Market by some supposedly unknown persons is an eyesore and major concern.
Where on earth is the Sole Administrator of Ikorodu Local Government? I am sure his nonchalant attitude led to this whole scenario, not leaving behind the immoral decision made by the Former Executive Secretary, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina. He was supposed to have a viable information of what is going on but his silence is also worrisome.
It’s unjustified that nothing has been done since the incident happened. Believe you me, Hon. S. O. B Agunbiade had really tried to have shown concern as a good citizen of Ikorodu Town.
Please, where are other political representatives, and progressive Indigenes of Ikorodu. Let’s put politics aside, this is an Ancient Market and should not be tampered with without collective knowledge or input. So the demolition of Sabo Market is about us and not politicians alone.
Looking critically again, if such action was to take place, the marketers should have been informed not just the drastic action taken by unknown persons.
I hate the word “Unknown persons”. That’s another major issue I have with the press release from State Government. Lagos State cannot claim to be ignorant on this situation. Ikorodu people demand answers to lingering questions.
