By The 14th Emir of Kano, His Excellency, Muhammadu Sanusi II has openly published one of his payslip to show his monthly net pay to set the record straight about his monthly allocation.
The payslip was posted on the verified social media account of the traditional ruler just as it was boasted that the Emir has been the highest paid public office holder since the colonial era.
According to the published payslip, the Emir Sanusi’s consolidated amount is N1,312,500.00 while total deduction is N65,625.00, dropping his net pay to N1,246,875.00

The post also debunked a report by some online publications which has it that he receives N12m as monthly allocation.
