By ‘I rape children because my girlfriend left me’
Following his arrest over having canal knowledge with a 5-year-old, a certain Abdullateef Ibrahim has confessed to committing the crime while seeking for forgiveness.
Ibrahim, 20 was discovered to be in the habit of raping young girls until he met his waterloo. The young victim had been sent on an errand by her mum when Ibrahim accosted her and dragged her into an isolated bush where he raped her.
The suspect was arrested by the Niger state Police Command for raping the child and was paraded on Sunday where he made a confessional statement.
Abdullateef Ibrahim confessed to have raped over six children in the community before the long arm of the law caught up with him. He however attributed his act to his girlfriend who dumped him a long time ago even though he confessed he had already started engaging in the act before her exit.

“Since my girlfriend left, I have been in the act and I enjoyed doing it, but at times I will ask myself ‘why am I into this mess and the urge still continues?’ It is quite unfortunate that I found myself in this hopeless predicament.”
