While members of the community were making moves to put out the inferno, efforts by the Council Chairman, Comrade Olusesan Daini, to call on the fire fighters from Lagos State Fire Service proved abortive as the angry youths prevented the fire agency from quelling the fire when it eventually arrived.
Efforts aimed at quenching the fire received a new drive when officers of Mopol 63 arrived the scene to see to the protection lives and properties.
