Nigerian music producer, Samuel Oguachba, popularly known as Samklef, has shared his thoughts on the growing trend of young men opting to perform diabolical rituals in order to get rich quick.
According to the “Molowo Noni” crooner, Nollywood movies keep enforcing the wrong belief in ‘money rituals’ among young people.
Taking to his Twitter page on Sunday, the ace music producer lamented, “Igbo Nollywood, English and yoruba movies are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies.
“Nigeria movies producer can do better. Everything must no be based on juju and religion.”
In recent times, there has been several reports of killings of innocent people, especially young girls, for money ritual purposes. The perpetrators of these crimes, in most cases, are suspected internet fraudsters, also as Yahoo boys.
Last week, a mother and her son were arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing the younger sibling for money rituals.
