President Tinubu Appoints 7 New Ministers Amid Cabinet Reshuffle

President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers to fill existing vacancies in his cabinet, pending Senate confirmation.

They include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour & Employment
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment)
Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development
Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development
Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State for Education

Black Box Nigeria had earlier reported on the recent cabinet reshuffle, which saw the dismissal of five ministers and the reassignment of ten others.

The Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and Ministry of Sports Development were also scrapped and replaced by the Ministry of Regional Development.

The President also added that all appointees must understand the administration’s eagerness and determination to set Nigeria on the path to irreversible growth and invest the best of their abilities into the actualization of the
government’s priorities.
