By Major General Cecil Esekhaigbe Rtd, President of the Lagos State University Alumni Association on Wednesday, March 22nd inducted new graduands of the institution.
The induction ceremony, which was one of the activities of the Convocation Ceremony took place after the Vice Chancellor, Prof Lanre Fagbohun approved the Award of First Degree with the “I ADMIT YOU ALL” response he gave to all the Deans.
The President of the Alumni urged the new graduands to be great ambassadors of the institution everywhere they found themselves.
He said their membership of the association was a clarion call on them all to enable them give back to the Citadel of Learning.
He also rejoiced with Prof Fagbohun on the peace and stability the University have enjoyed for a long time.
He stated that the Alumni association has its part in the maintenance of peace and it has vowed to keep the flag flying.
He then led the graduands to take their Oath of Allegiance with the Association which marked the end of the induction.
They all promised to be worthy ambassadors of the Citadel of Learning of the institution and the alumni association.
They also promised to protect the vision, mission and core values of the institution.
