By Supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi have heaped praises on popular Nigerian comedian, Okey Bakassi for endorsing him for the nation’s top seat in the 2023 elections.
Taking to his Twitter page on Monday, the funnyman said he is backing Obi because he wants Nigeria to succeed.
According to Bakassi, he believes that once the ex-Anambra governor “fixes” the country, President Muhammadu Buhari as well as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu won’t embark on medical tourism anymore.
“I don’t want Atiku or Tinubu to fail, I just want Nigeria to succeed. I’ll support and vote for @PeterObi to fix Nigeria, so in their very old age, Buhari & Tinubu won’t be going to London for medical treatment and Atiku won’t live in Dubai. #saveNigeria,” he wrote.

Reacting, supporters of the LP candidate, better known as Obidients on social media, hailed the comedian for joining the list of Nigerian celebrities who have endorsed Obi ahead of the 2023 polls.
