Controversial singer Portable has emerged victorious in his highly publicized boxing match against Speed Darlington, claiming the coveted “Street King” title.
The match, held at the Balmoral Convention Center in Lagos on April 18, 2025, ended with Portable securing a technical knockout (TKO) over Speed Darlington.
The feud between the two artists began when Speed Darlington offered Portable ₦500,000 to perform at his concert, which Portable deemed an insult.
Portable demanded ₦20 million, claiming it was his standard performance fee, and labeled Speed Darlington “poor” due to the low payment offer.
This led to a heated exchange, culminating in the boxing challenge.
During the match, Portable dominated the ring, showcasing impressive footwork and aggressive tactics that left Speed Darlington visibly shaken.
By the end of the first round, Speed Darlington refused to stand for the second round, prompting the referee to declare Portable the winner.
Videos circulating online captured Speed Darlington leaving the ring with a bandaged hand, reportedly nursing a broken right arm.
Portable, on the other hand, celebrated his victory by kneeling and clutching his newly awarded belt.
This is the second time portable is having a victory against colleague. He had with Charles Okocha months ago where he emerge victorious in a knock out stage.
The outcome sparked a wave of reactions online, with some notable some saying that Portable has more strength than Akpi owing to rascality attitude of the former.
