Popular co-host of TVC’s ‘Your View’; Tope Mark Odigie has been conferred by an Non-Governmental Organization, NGO; Tuberculosis and Other Communicable Disease Foundation an ambassadorial title, BlackBox Nigeria reports.

In the remark of the convener of the group, Comr Asoro Abubakri Olatunji, the appointment will allow her to use her personality in promoting awareness about Tuberculosis. He noted that TB was responsible for 1.8 million deaths and 10.4 million illness in 2015. The move is aimed at stopping incessant deaths occurring from the disease.
The TV star, while acknowledging the appointment, commended the organization for it effort in ending TB, she reiterated her commitment in working in line with the terms of her appointment especially ensuring that the #endTB message gets to the nook and cranny of the country.

Other members of the organisation present include Olabisi Olanrewaju, Olasunkanmi Oduntan and Adekanmbi Khadijah.
The conferment is part of the lined up activities of the organization to mark the World TB Day which is schedule to be capped with a symposium on Tuesday, 26th March 2018 at Lagos State Youth Centre Ita-Elewa Ikorodu.
