Nigerian media personality Morayo Afolabi‑Brown has unveiled a state‑of‑the‑art studio in Lagos Mainland ahead of the launch of her new daily live talk programme, The Morayo Show.
The facility, described as one of the most advanced of its kind on the Mainland, marks a major milestone in her broadcasting career and expands Nigeria’s media production infrastructure.
The studio was revealed during a media parley where Afolabi‑Brown detailed plans for The Morayo Show, a live audience talk show designed to engage Nigerians in meaningful conversations on social, cultural, emotional, and national issues.
The programme set to premiere on January 5, 2026 will air on News Central TV, TVC Entertainment, and NTA Lagos, with availability on digital platforms.
Speaking at the unveiling, Afolabi‑Brown said the new studio and show represent a deliberate effort to create “a space for dialogue, a home for truth, and a platform for voices that need to be heard.”
She stressed the importance of inclusive and participatory media, positioning the show as a platform where everyday Nigerians are participants, not spectators.
With more than two decades of experience in broadcast journalism including her earlier role as host of popular programmes like ‘Your View’, Afolabi‑Brown indicated that the new venture reflects both her personal evolution and a commitment to elevating national discourse.
Beyond serving as the production base for her talk show, the Lagos Mainland studio is expected to function as a multi‑purpose creative hub available for podcasts, interviews, watch parties, and professional recordings, providing content creators and brands with a world‑class space to realise their ideas.
Executives from partner stations lauded the project, with News Central Television’s Editor‑in‑Chief Kayode Akintemi describing the collaboration with Afolabi‑Brown as part of a broader vision to build credible platforms for national conversation and innovation in Nigerian media.
