Sources disclosed to the press that the incident occured when the lady in question was caught driving without using her seat belt near FRSC unit Command at Umueka KM 78 Aba Road, Abia State.
It was learnt that after she was questioned for not using her seat belt, she flared up and called her husband via the phone who immediately dispatched his security detail to the scene.
On arrival, the Police officers shot at the two FRSC officials who sustained injuries. The shooting caused confusion as passers-by ran for their safety.
