The Assistant Superintendent of Police, Adebayo Ojo and Sargent Adeleke Mojisola, Agbowa Division, have been arrested for allegedly unlawfully impounding the vehicle of an unidentified lady, after extorting her.
Blackboxnigeria gathered that the arrest was made via a video implicating the ASP and Sargent Mojisola.
The video, which threw social media into a frenzy, revealed the duo right in the alleged act.
Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, upon analyzing the video, immediately ordered the arrest of the duo, adding that an indepth investigation must be carried out.
The CP, while commending the courage of the complaint and other well-meaning citizens who forwarded the video till it got to their reach, reaffirmed his stance against corrupt practices and impunity.
