Operatives of special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in Kastina have succeeded in arresting the duo of Nura Tukur of Sabon-Gida Quaters, Kastina and Sani Musa popularly known as”ADUNKULE”of Farin-Yaro Quaters , Kanstina who specialize in blackmailing people with possible kidnap if random is not paid.
The duo specialize in sending threat messages of kidnapping to unsuspecting members of the public and demanding for payment of ransom or risk being kidnapped.
The hoodlums called and sent text messages to one Alhaji Umar Sale on the 21st, January,2020, through his cellphone and threatened to kidnap him or he pays the sum of Forty minutes naira(40,000,000) as ransom.
They also called Alhaji Tasiu Danladi of Sabon Gida Quaters , Kastina on the 18th, January,2020 and demanded for the payment of Two hundred thousand naira (200,000) or risk being kidnapped.
They didn’t stop at that, in there usual way, they sent text messages and phone calls to Alhaji Yahaya Belloof Sullubawa Quaters Kastina on the 23rd, January,2020 demanding for the ransom of Two hundred thousand (200,000) or himself or any member of his family take the risk of being kidnapped.
On the 12, January,2020 the duo criminals also used the same method and threatened one Dr. Abba Mohd of Sabon Gida Quaters, Kastina to pay the sum of Two hundred thousand (200,000) or risk being kidnapped.
