Police Arrests Fake Soldier Who Operates Okada In Military Uniform

The Lagos State Police Command on Thursday, March 5, 2020, arrested a fake Soldier who operates a motorcycle, popularly known as Okada, wearing a military uniform. The impersonator was apprehended by Policemen who are on patrol in Agbado.
BlackBox Nigeria correspondent gathered that the impersonator was arrested and taken to Alagbado Police Divisional headquarters, Agbado, area of Alimosho Local Government, a suburb if Lagos State southwest Nigeria.
It was further gathered he was arrested around 8:30 am, when the Alagbado police went on enforcement of restriction order on Motorcycles along Madalashi Bus Stop, Agege motorway, Alagbado wherein they intercepted Yusuf Bello, 38 years old, a native of Gwoza, Borno State dressed in military uniform and carrying passengers on an unregistered Bajaj Motorcycle.
The suspect was said to usually carry passengers from Apapa to Agege up to Ogun State. Following his arrest, pairs of military camouflage and naval uniforms were recovered from him. He was also in possession of fake military identity card.
According to the Police, investigation is ongoing to ascertain the source of the military uniforms and the link the suspect has with other criminal activities like traffic robbery in Lagos.
