PM News Online Editor Lanre Babalola Dies of Cancer

One of the editors of PM Newspaper, Mr Olarenwaju Babalola is dead, BlackBox Nigeria can reliably report.

The versatile editor whose LinkedIn profile stated that he joined PM news in the year 2000, died of cancer. As at the time of his death, Babalola had worked with the media house for 20 years and 8 months.

On July 21st, 2020, Babalola had posted on his Facebook page after finishing 20 rounds of phototherapy at LUTH cancer centre that he has been told to wait for 2 weeks to know further update on his health.

”To God be the glory. I have just finished 20 rounds of gruelling phototherapy at LUTH cancer centre. I thank you for your prayers and support. My oncologist said I should wait for two weeks for further development”, the deceased wrote only to be announced dead today.
