By “Please, Wake Up From Your Slumber”- Ooni Writes Nigerian Youth
Youthful monarch, Oba Alayeluwa Babatunde Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has called on Nigerian youth to be ready in taking the country to enviable heights.
The 51st Ooni used the social media to pass the message across, as he also identified himself with the youth in the country. Since he was crowned, he has been an advocate of the Nigerian youth as he organises engaging activities to curb violence in the society.
He advised that the age group needs to wake up from its slumber and help in nation building.
He said, “My own Nigerian Youths, I’m indeed part of You, please wake up from your slumber and let’s join hands together to take Nigeria to another level. Nobody will do this for us.
“7 out of 10 Nigerians are youths.
I love you all.”
The Ooni’s call on the youth is coming at a time the Not Too Young To Run Campaign is gaining grounds and exactly 16 months to the 2019 General Elections.
