Pictures As LASU Holds 1st Research Fair, Launches Ultra Modern CBT Centre
The management of Lagos State University in its bid to transform and make great impact in the society flagged off the LASU Research Grant Fund.
Professor Fagbohun in his address noted that research is fundamental to developing new knowledge as it remains the catalyst and veritable tool for national development. He stated that by holding the fair, the University management is7 making a bold statement and celebrating research excellence.
He said the institution will partner with public and private sectors to develop solutions to the problems of Nigeria, and the world in general.
Also launched was the new 500-seater CBT Centre which was jointly built by the institution, Providus Bank and Clayhall Properties
Present at the event were; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN; Managing Director of Providus Bank, Walter Aloanyi; Chairman Clayhall Properties, Ayo Ojuroye; Special Adviser on Education, Tokunbo Wahab (who represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu) among other invited guests, including the Chief host of the day, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun SAN also led his team to the venue.
