The saying that water is life cannot be far fetched as the honourable Member of Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Nurudeen Saka Solaja, today, February 23, 2022, commissioned 12 borehole projects in Igbogbo, Ijede and Imota areas in Ikorodu Division.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Solaja said he constructed the boreholes for his people to address perennial shortage of water in some communities in Ikorodu Local Government.
He noted that the boreholes, in addition to his contributions in the areas of education, sports, health and youth empowerment, would further make life more comfortable for members of his constituency.
Appreciating the contribution of the lawmaker, Chairman Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, described Hon. NS Solaja as a grassrooter and lawmaker with a difference. She, on behalf of the good people of Ijede, appreciated him for his proper representation and delivering a people-oriented project to the people.
Present at the commissioning ceremony were member Governor Advisory Council, Chief Olorunfunmi Bashorun, former Vice-Chairman, Lagos East APC, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, builder Sesan Daini, councillors, CDA representative, among others.
