By All roads led to the Ikorodu Ultra-Modern Town Hall in the Ikorodu area of Lagos, on Tuesday, as a leading young aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Ikorodu Constituency I, Prince Eniola Adeyemi, popularly known as Wake-Up, organised a massive concert for youths.
This came moments after Adeyemi formally announced his intention to contest for Lagos Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at a declaration event held at the residence of his late father, Chief Segun Adeyemi Wake-Up, a strong political figure in Ikorodu.
The concert featured a number of young entertainers from Ikorodu and beyond who thrilled the audience with their performances.
For Adeyemi, the event was his way of connecting with the teeming population of Ikorodu youths as well as a bold statement to the political class that he enjoys massive support from the young people.
In attendance were party leaders, members of his campaign team, loyalists, party faithfuls, and students of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) who came out in large numbers to grace the concert.
