Peter Obi’s supporters attack Otedola for ‘endorsing’ Tinubu

What was supposed to be a simple social media post has earned billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola heavy backlashes from supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

On Tuesday morning, Otedola shared pictures from his visit to the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in France, on Twitter.

In the tweet, the billionaire described the former Lagos State governor as a “great friend” and prayed that God grant him his heart desires to become Nigeria’s president in 2023.

The post, which appears to be a subtle endorsement for Tinubu, however, didn’t sit well with the supporters of Peter Obi who have since churned out heavy criticisms against Otedola.
