Former Anambra State Governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has participated in the Anambra governorship election, casting his vote at Polling Unit 019, Umudim Akasi Agulu 2, Ward 8.
Obi arrived at the polling unit on Saturday to join other citizens in performing their civic responsibility as voting commenced across the state.
The election features 16 candidates from 16 political parties vying to unseat the incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), who is seeking a second term in office.
Despite the tense political atmosphere, Obi’s presence drew attention as he continues to play a prominent role in Nigeria’s political landscape following the 2023 presidential election.
