PDP Crisis: When I Was Governor, You Were A Paper Boy – Sheriff Lashes Wike

The crisis rocking the People’s Democratic Party PDP, does not seems to be ending anytime soon as drama took centre stage today following irregularities that stalled the planned nationally convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as trading of words have been started.

Controversial chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff in a chat with Africa Independent Television, AIT took a swipe at the incumbent Governor of Rivers State, Barr Nyesom Wike, telling him he is no match to him.

This is coming after some speculations went round that the Governor still had a small circle of meeting at the party secretariat despite been prevented from gaining entrance to the Sharks Stadium, venue of the convention.

He said, “When I was a Governor of Borno Statte, Mr Wike was busy carrying papers for Amaechi. He is amateur when it comes to national politics. Money will get you judgement but truth will abort two conventions. That is how powerful I can be..”
