By The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has said that Malaria is deadlier than the novel Covid-19.
The 80-year-old clergyman stated this while addressing congregration members at his church’s National Headquarters in the Ebute Metta, Lagos, on Friday.
Adeboye noted that statistics reveal that more people died of Malaria than Covid-19 in 2021, saying Nigerians are particularly tired of the pandemic.
“I have been telling you since 2020 that God assured me that He heard my cry that only those whose time has come will die. If malaria is killing 200,000 and covid-19 has not be able to kill 2,000, I think malaria is deadlier than Covid-19,” he said.
The renowned preacher also admonished RCCG members to fear less about the pandemic, declaring that they would not die before their time. He, however, warned them not to be careless with their safety.
It would be recalled that about a week ago, Adeboye declared that Covid-19, like the Ebola Virus Disease, has subsided but won’t totally disappear.
