The tragedy that struck in Ibadan moments ago claimed the life of Hon Olatoye Temitope, popularly referred to as Sugar, the Honourable Member of the House of Representatives representing the Lagelu/Akinyele Constituency.
As at the time of filing this report, what led to the shooting of the lawmaker is yet to be confirmed but details has it that he was shot in the eye and rushed to UCH, Ibadan where he later gave up the ghost.
BBN gathered that the Ibadan politician was a senatorial candidate in the February 23rd National Assembly election were he contested under the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and lost.
