By Oyo Police Opens Up On How Popular Trado-medical Expert, Oko Oloyun Was Assassinated
The Oyo State Police Command has released an official statement on how the Chairman of Oko Oloyun Worldwide was murdered by unknown gunmen in the middle of an expressway in Iseyin area of the State.
The Public Relations Officer of the State Command, Gbenga Fadeyi disclose that preliminary reports from Police investigation reveals that the late Alhaji Fatai Yusuf was trailed from Lagos until he got to Abeokuta-Iseyin expressway before he was gunned down. Some witnesses reported that he was killed about 4:30pm Nigerian time.
He also added that the Commissioner of Police and some other top officers have visited the scene of the incident and announced to go after the gunmen and prosecute them.
It was also gathered that the late trado-medical expert was said to have specifically passed through that route as he tried not to pass other routes said to have been experiencing armed robbery and banditry.
Until his death, he was the President of Physiotherapy Association of Nigeria and seats aboard a money venture organisation that promises high return for investors. His remains has been deposited at the mortuary of General Hospital of Igbo-Ora, Iseyin, Oyo State.
