A mix of reactions and outrage has swept across social media following a viral video showing the aftermath of a tragic incident in Choba, Port Harcourt, where a woman allegedly set her boyfriend ablaze during a relationship dispute.
The video, shared by X user @ChuksEricE, revealed the burnt remains of the victim’s room, with charred walls and ashes across the bed which indicates an evidence of the horrific act.
In the background, a distressed voice is heard saying: “Relationship no be by force o, marriage no be by force o. See wetin one nonsense girl do e boyfriend, she burn the boyfriend to ashes.”
The footage quickly gained traction, sparking a flood of reactions online, with users expressing a mix of anger, fear, and sadness.
“Na why I dey fear girls without future,” wrote @jay\_den111, capturing the fear many expressed about the dangers of toxic relationships.
Another user, @retweet\_repostz, condemned the act, saying, “This is utterly heartbreaking. May she be found and jailed for life.”
