Oriwu College Old Students Association Holds Career Talk For Students
The Oriwu College Old Students Association (OCOSAN) set of 2000 under the leadership of Sholanke Lateef (Arisona), today held a seminar on entrepreneurship and the use of information technology tagged “Beyond Education Career” at the school premises for senior students.
In his welcome speech, the President Lateef Sholanke tried orientating the students on the need to start picturing the future career they want for themselves early in life.
“There is need to learn how to manage your time most especially, while waiting for admission into the higher institution, you need to broaden your learning by having a vocational skills,” Sholanke counsel the students at Oriwu Model College Ikorodu.
Amongst the guest speakers at the event was the former Head Girl of the 2000 Set, Mrs Morufat Omoola Adeyinka, who spoke on,”Vocational Skills: Why you should embrace it.” An accomplished fashion designer, she shared her experience of keying into the business early in life and finding fulfillment therein.
The second speaker at the event was public affair analysts and economist, Mr Oke Godwin popularly known as Ogo4Real. He spoke on,”Social Media: A Tool to Maximizing Business Goals and Aspirations.”
