Organisers of 50 Cent’s much-anticipated Legacy Tour concert in London have announced American rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie as the latest addition to the lineup, just days after Nigerian superstar Davido withdrew from the event citing “a matter of principle and respect.”

The concert, which will feature hip-hop icon 50 Cent and R&B legend Mary J. Blige, is scheduled to hold on July 3, 2025, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London.

Davido had pulled out of the show in a statement released on Saturday, June 14, expressing disappointment over what he described as “major misalignments” regarding the event’s execution. He stressed that his decision was not connected to ticket sales but to protect the integrity of his brand and performance standards.

“Over the past few weeks, I have extended my full support and professionalism to The Neto Future Group, promoters of @iconicpresents,” Davido said in the statement shared via Instagram Stories. “Despite strong fan support and impressive ticket sales, there have been major misalignments… Unfortunately, these issues remain unresolved.”

He concluded by thanking his fans and reaffirming that his summer tour, the 5ive Alive Tour, remains intact.

The show’s organisers wasted no time in updating the concert lineup. They officially unveiled A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie as part of the July 3 event. The New York-born rapper, known for hits like “Look Back at It” and “Drowning,” joins a lineup that already includes 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige.

Meanwhile, Davido is preparing for his own 5ive Alive Tour, which will kick off on July 11 in Los Angeles. The tour will take him across several cities in the United States and Canada, including San Francisco on July 12, Dallas on July 16, Houston on July 17, and Denver on July 19.

He will also perform in Minneapolis on July 25, Toronto on July 26, Laval on July 27, and Brooklyn on July 31. The tour continues in August with stops in Boston on August 1, Philadelphia on August 2, Columbia on August 5, Edmonton on August 15, and Detroit on August 17. Davido is scheduled to wrap up the tour in Atlanta on November 20.

Joining Davido on the tour are Nigerian rising stars Victony, Odumodublvck, and Morravey.

Davido assured fans that although he won’t be performing at the London concert, he remains committed to delivering electrifying performances on the rest of his global tour. “London, I’ll see you guys soon, I promise!” he said. “Africa must be respected.”
