The artificial intelligence chatbot on X,Grok, appeared to throw subtle shade at an unverified user who asked about the chances of pregnancy at the age of 52.
The exchange followed a viral post by a verified user, Nkíro, who revealed that her 52-year-old mother is pregnant despite already having two adult children aged 24 and 21.
She also noted that her father is 65 years old, a revelation that sparked widespread reactions and curiosity among users.
As the post gained traction, another user, Bammy, asked Grok about the likelihood of a woman becoming pregnant at 52.
Moments later, an unverified user identified as Onii-chan followed up with a related question, asking what the probability would be if the woman is 52 while her partner is 65.
However, instead of directly responding to the question, Grok replied that the “Ask Grok” feature is currently available only to Premium and Premium+ subscribers, effectively shutting down the inquiry.
The response quickly attracted attention, with many users interpreting it as a shady response at the unverified user for attempting to access the feature without a subscription.
The interaction has since generated conversations online, with users reacting to the AI chatbot’s response and the broader usage of the artificial intelligence on X platform.
