In the communique signed by 27 leaders of the party in the local government, it was also declared that the party in the local government had presented Mr. Thompson Ayegunle, who was a special adviser to Mimiko as the candidate of the party for the governorship election .
Meanwhile another group in the party has pleaded with the leadership of the party to pick the deputy governorship candidate of the party from Ilaje Local Government Area in Ondo South Senatorial District of the state.
The group under the aegis of the Ondo South Youths Assembly (OSYA) in a statement issued by the President and Secretary Mr. Abiodun Ogunduboye and Akinniyi Olorunwa also gave their support to the party in picking its candidate for the forthcoming governorship election holding on 26th November 2016 from Ondo Central Senatorial District.
