Olamide Baddo Under Fire as Fans Accuse Him of Hypocrisy in ‘Big Three’ Supremacy Battle

Nigerian rap icon and YBNL boss, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo, is currently facing heavy backlash on social media over allegations that he is subtly taking sides against Afrobeats superstar Davido in the ongoing supremacy battle involving Nigeria’s “Big Three”, Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy.

The controversy erupted after Olamide recently showed public support to Burna Boy recent release amid his online feud with Davido.

Although fans allegedly accused Olamide of hypocrisy because he didn’t made any public comment on Davido’s latest Album ‘5ive’.

Some fans have taken to social media to accuse Olamide of hypocrisy, pointing out that while he is often celebrated for staying neutral and helping to unite the industry, he now appears to be aligning himself with one faction in the escalating rivalry.

“Clout chaser, you no post Davido album fake nigga, I no really like you from day one idiot nigga,” one user posted on X.

Another user wrote, “He should have stayed silent if he really didn’t want to take sides. His actions are speaking louder.”

Another fan wrote, “Ever since Davido dropped the masterpiece album, you are still yet to tweet about any of the songs on the album but you’ve talked about wiz and Burna’s release in recent days. It questions your sincerity and in no doubt this is an act of hypocrisy. Nobody is above being cancelled.”

This isn’t the first time Olamide has been drawn into industry drama, but the current storm is notable for the way it touches on the deeply rooted fan loyalty that defines Nigeria’s vibrant music scene.
