A student of the Nigerian Law School, Yola campus, Ayomiposi Ojajuni, has tragically taken his own life after being disqualified from participating in the ongoing Bar Final examinations.
The deceased, a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, was reportedly informed of his disqualification on Saturday, December 6, over unresolved disciplinary issues. The decision left him devastated.
According to sources within the Yola campus, Ojajuni ingested a harmful substance shortly after learning he would not be allowed to sit for the exams. He was rushed to the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, where he later died on Sunday, December 7.
It was gathered that his disqualification followed a series of disciplinary queries issued against him by the Law School, although specific details have not been made public.
The Nigerian Law School and the Council of Legal Education have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
