By Ogun Monarch Gruesomely Murdered and Burnt in his car
The traditional ruler of Owo, a town in Ogun State, Oba Patrick Fasinu has been killed in a gruesome manner after assassins way laid him, hacked him to death and them burnt him in his car.
According to reports obtained by BlackBox Nigeria, Oba Fasinu had attended a traditional rulers meeting in Ilaro last wednesday and was returning home when the attack occured. Reports claim the monarch had initially dropped off his driver deciding to drive himself home.
Yet to be identified assailants reportedly attacked him on the road, forcefully dragged him out of the car and hacked him to death with an axe. He was then bundled back into his Toyota Camry which was set ablaze.
This incident has been confirmed by the Police PRO in the state, Abiodun Oyeyemi who disclosed that investigations have begun while the driver have been brought into custody pending conclusion of investigation.
