Cool FM’s OAP, Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, popularly known as Do2dtun has called out popular music star Oladapo Oyebanji, best known as D’banj for his alleged involvement in the marital crisis with his former wife.
Do2dtun took to his verified Instagram page to share an image with the text “Don’t worry, I’ll give it more light soon! No more love and light. All lights off. I am waiting patiently”, written on it.
In the caption, Do2dtun claimed he has been quiet for 2 years, with several lies being told, and various attempts being used to pervert the course of justice.
He took a shot at D’banj tagging him in the post, letting him know he has heard and read the spurious lies being fabricated against him. He typed, “since you have chosen to take the matter to the press, the entire world will now know how wicked, deceitful, ignorant, and despicable you and your entire family are.”
Dotun didn’t leave out the lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi in his tantrums. He typed, “it is shameful when legal practitioners that are supposed to be learned, rather than submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the Court, choose to conduct the practice of the law like social media bloggers.”
He ended the caption by wishing his estranged wife well, hoping God will heal her heart one day.
Back Story
Dotun’s marriage with D’banj’s biological sister, Omotayo recently hit the rock after the latter filed for a divorce at the court of law.
Pelumi Olajengbesi, Omotayo’s lawyer signed court documents stating that the OAP, Dotun forced his wife to abort her third pregnancy as a married woman, domestic violence, and emotional abuse.
The court subsequently granted the divided custody of the children, which the persecutor didn’t oppose pending the final determination of the suit in court.
It was also reported that Do2dtun broke into the premises of Omotayo’s house in Abuja on December 14, 2022. He allegedly went with some policemen and assaulted the gateman and staff on duty.
Consequently, Omotayo through her lawyer petitioned the Deputy Inspector of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Abuja for unlawful entry, malicious damage, criminal trespass, and unlawful use of policemen by Dotun.
She claimed the action has left her in a state of emotional distress and fear of imminent danger in the hands of the Dotun, who remains volatile and unpredictable.
The marriage which had been knotted since 2013, produced two children.
