The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Lagos State Chapter, as part of its mandate to engage youths and in commemoration of 365 days in office, has announced plans to launch an online youth TV.
First of its kind, the online TV “YOUTV”, will confidently and consistently serve as a veritable means of communication to the teeming Lagos State youths.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Comrade Abiodun Ajayi Mandate, the focus of the online TV is to address topical issues that directly or indirectly affects the youths in the state.
“However, impactful programmes with direct benefits on the youths as executed by organizations, the society, government and youth bodies will be prioritized. The channel will showcase segments that will be educative, entertaining and informative,” he added.
He said the vision was to make the online TV a household project that would be capable to engage youths as freelancers, while still maintaining the social responsibility of the media.
The Public Relations Department and the secretariat of the youth council will be responsible for its operations and can be contacted for partnership, sponsorship, participation and adverts placement.
