Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has unveiled a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the untimely demise of renowned Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
On Wednesday night, Iyabo Ojo took to her Instagram page to disclose that the nurse who treated Mohbad before his passing had been apprehended by law enforcement.
The disclosure came during her briefing to fans after meeting with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, shedding light on the progress of the police investigation into Mohbad’s tragic death on September 12, 2023.
Iyabo Ojo, a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, stated,
“The police have made some arrests [in connection with Mohbad’s death]. The nurse has been arrested. That I know. That’s the only information I can give you right now. They have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”
This revelation follows the suspicions raised by Mohbad’s father, James Aloba, who expressed concerns that the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to his son might have played a role in complicating his health.
