By NPF Dismisses Officer Attached To Abia Speaker For Shooting FRSC Officials
Corporal Iroh Orji who until recently was attached to the Speaker of Abia State Assembly has been dismissed by the Nigeria Police Force for reckless shooting at two marshals of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
Abia State Commissioner of Police, Leye Oyebade announced the dismissal of Orji in Umuahia on Monday. He stated that the Force frowns at such act by over zealous officers.
It will be recalled that some officers attached to the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chikwendu Kalu shot the FRSC marshals who stopped the wife of the Speaker for not using seat belt while she was driving.
The incident which occurred at Umueka KM 78 Aba Road, Abia on July 16th left the two officials injured.
