Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken a stand in support of DJ Splash, formerly associated with Marlian Records, as he shared harrowing tales of his experiences with Naira Marley and his crew.
The actress paid a visit to DJ Splash’s parents’ house in Ikotun, Lagos, where he opened up about the disturbing ordeal he faced.
DJ Splash’s journey with Naira Marley began when he won the DJ Consequence DJ competition in 2020, leading to his signing with Marlian Records.
However, his dreams took a nightmarish turn when he expressed his desire to pursue singing alongside his DJ career.
According to DJ Splash, this decision ignited a sinister plot by Naira Marley and his gang to drive him to madness.
His time at the Marlian Records headquarters introduced him to a different, tumultuous life, causing mental health issues that left him in a fragile state.
When DJ Splash’s family started asking questions, Naira Marley and his associates forcibly expelled him from their house.
It was only when his mother came to rescue him that the full extent of the damage became apparent, as he reportedly suffered from memory loss.
DJ Splash’s story is not the only disturbing revelation.
A Nigerian man known as 4G Xbox took to Instagram to accuse Naira Marley of drugging women and engaging in non-consensual activities with them.
These allegations were accompanied by claims of threats to silence the victims.
4G Xbox even alleged that Naira Marley was involved in the abortion of one of his ex-partner’s pregnancies.
Former Marlian Records signee Tori Keeche also added her voice to the chorus of maltreatment claims.
She detailed how Naira Marley’s crew seized her Instagram account after she left the label and described overhearing discussions about the late Mohbad’s fate, leading to her pleading for his life.
Tori also recounted instances of violence and clashes, including an encounter with Sam Larry, Naira Marley’s aide.
