No to refuse dump -Ijede LCDA Chairman charges as he launches council version of Cleaner Lagos Initiative
Ijede LCDA of Lagos is set to have a cleaner look in the coming days as the newly elected Chairman, Com. Salisu Fatiu has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that his people live in a healthy environment by prohibiting the indiscriminate dumping of refuse dump.
Com. Fatiu made this charge yesterday during the launch of the ‘No to refuse dump, yes to cleaner environment‘ campaign in the LCDA.

According to him, this is in line with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode‘s move to maintaining a healthy living in the state through the Cleaner Lagos Initiative.
The council boss was supported at the launch by his amiable Vice Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo and other newly elected councillors.
In his remark, Com. Fatiu admonished all residents of the LCDA to join in ensuring a cleaner Ijede while stating categorically that his first major task is to ensure a healthy environment thereby creating an ambiance conducive for effective and meaningful governance.
He finally enjoined residents to eschew the act of incessant dumping of trash on the streets and drains but rather bag their trash and dispose properly.
