By No NDDC Files Are Missing, No Staff Sacked – Akpabio Reveals
The Niger Delta Minister, Senator Godswill Akpabio has disclosed to the House Committee on NDDC that there are no missing files at the Niger Delta Development Commission as all are intact.
Akpabio while appearing before the Committee disclosed that allegations that some files were missing and some staff of the Commission were sacked.
The former Akwa Ibom State Governor also disclosed that about 8,000 files have been handed over to the forensic audit companies currently auditing the activities of the Commission.
Akpabio also denied allegations of receiving N10bn as palliatives for States as he declared it untrue and from pit of hell. He also denied hijacking the forensic audit of the Commission as he said it was still ongoing and the oath allegation against him was false.
